Common Questions
Before you sign.
Who can join the wall?
Any legitimate business operating in North Texas. We do a brief check that your business is real (a working website or a Google Business Profile) before listing, but we don’t gate by size, age, or industry. Faith-based, secular, retail, services, agriculture, trades. All are welcome to stand with veterans here.
How is the money used?
Every dollar from Supporter and Champion contributions funds Renewed Path International’s free QPR training, peer support, family resources, and intake services for North Texas veterans. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 41-5156308). We post our annual financials publicly on our About page each year.
Is my contribution tax-deductible?
Yes. Supporter ($280/year) and Champion ($1,000/year) contributions are tax-deductible donations to a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You’ll receive an emailed receipt within 24 hours of your contribution. The free Pledge tier doesn’t involve a contribution and so isn’t tax-deductible.
How do I get a Veteran-Owned badge on my listing?
Check the “Veteran-Owned” box when you apply. We trust your word on this (no documentation required), but please only check it if a veteran owns at least 51% of your business. The badge is free at every tier, including the Free Pledge.
What happens at the end of my 12-month listing?
We’ll email you 60 days before your listing expires with a renewal link. You can renew at the same tier, change tiers, or step down to the free Pledge listing. Your business stays on the wall either way. Listings that aren’t renewed automatically move to the free Pledge Wall, so you don’t disappear from the community by accident.
Can I cancel or remove my listing?
Anytime. Email us at contact@renewedpath.us.com with the subject line “Remove our listing” and we’ll take you off within two business days. Paid contributions aren’t refunded mid-year, but your listing remains live until your 12-month term ends if you’d like.
